-        Maintain a strong rapport with all stakeholders including carriers, agents, and service providers for long term agreements 
-        Support networking department with the agent pricing assessment through providing routinely feedback on agents pricing, relationship & performance
-        Attend joined sales visits to potential clients
-        Maintain the database of contractual rates making it easily accessible to all involved in a timely matter
 
Scope 3: Reporting  
 
-        Prepare & submit the pricing dashboard to direct manager on monthly basis
-        Support direct manager and provide the necessary level of analysis upon requests
-        Ensure pricing team are reporting their daily inquiries received from sales/operations/house accounts on daily basis, and updating their status on weekly basis into the pricing reporting tool
-        Ensuring Weekly reports convering enquiry status are sent by the pricing team , to the sales team to monitor shipping progress

Your Responsibilities:
Job Scope
 
As the Sales Manager at GES Logistics, Malaysia Branch, your primary role is to set the sales strategy in coordination with the Branch Manager to identify new markets and customer leads, and pitching prospective customers. You are also responsible of ensuring that current customers are being adequately serviced through continuous follow ups. 
 
Scope 1: Sales Management 
-        Coordinate with the Branch Manager on sales strategies and pipelines to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in Malaysia 
-        Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and other stakeholders in the industry 
-        Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals, and networking 
-        Negotiate contracts and pricing with SEA pricing desk in accordance with company policies 
-        Provide regular reports to branch manager on sales, GP, and volume performance and Malaysian market trends 
-        Analyse clients’ performance and trends to anticipate demands and needs 
 
Scope 2: Team Progress 
-        Develop and manage the Sales team and set individual targets to achieve the branch sales target

-        Support HR in hiring high sales calibre with diverse portfolios by scanning the market and recommending profiles
-        Manage and motivate the team to achieve their individual and team targets 

-        Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and training to support the professional development of the team 

-        Develop and deliver presentations to customers, highlighting GES services and solutions 

 
Scope 3: Customer Service
-        Follow closely with operations on clients’ shipment status to provide exceptional service

-        Upkeep the Account Receivables of your clients and ensure that payments are done on time 

-        Continuously cooperate with credit department to ensure client agreement compliance 

-        Provide regular sales reports to branch manager following predefined templates
